Goods and Services
You have arrived at the Goods and Services Corral. Before you leave the corral, you need to know the following. A Good is something people want that you can hold or touch. Some examples are an apple or a hairbrush. A Service is something people people do for other people. Some examples are a barber cuts hair, a teacher educates students, or a police officer protects people. Before you start on your own, you will need to work with a group of students.
1. Go to BrainPop Jr. and watch the video on Needs and Wants.

2. Visit the Pearson's Goods and Services Drag and Drop activity.
3. Open this Goods and Services sheet in Notability and complete it with your partner.
4. On a post-it, write down one service. For example, cutting hair would be a service. Then list the goods that go with that service. For example, to cut hair you would need scissors, brushes, hair dryers, a chair, etc. Add your post-it to the chart about Goods and Services
